Be Someone’s Superhero 2022

It is that time again! It is time to Be Someone’s Superhero. Yes, it is charity time.

Be Somebody’s Superhero has taken many forms since the inaugural event in 2016. At this first event we gathered together with some of our amazing cosplayer friends. We had both online and in store fun. There was gaming online. We had raffles in the store. It was not only a great time but a wonderful first event.

Last year we raised $500.00, and this year we expect to have just as much fun for charity. This year we have a very exciting announcement about who we are partnering with. We will be working with our friends at Player Vs. Hunger

Player Vs. Hunger started in Houston with the goal to make sure there is nutrition available for everyone. They work to make sure that food banks are restocked. They partner with gamers to help achieve these goals. This amazing organization is growing, which is good because there is an even greater need for them right now. The security that comes from not having to worry about getting meals is immeasurable. They also have their own discord and monthly meetings available to all. They also have plenty of social media options to help you keep track of all their work!

This year Be Someone’s Superhero will be virtual again to keep everyone safe. So here’s what you need to know going into the event.
