We did it, friends! One more big charity season is in the books for Real Women of Gaming. To Hell and Back… For Charity is our last big event of the year. It was a huge success this year, with us raising a total of $905.00 this year for the National Abortion Federation. We are so grateful to all of you for joining streams, donating and just hanging out with us all week and making this the success that it was. With the world the way it is, we know things are hard right now. While it was important for us to end this year supporting reproductive rights, we could not have done it without your support. The money will go a long way to help out a lot of different folks.
We also have to shout-out our amazing streamers. This year our streaming family really stepped up with some great games. Even our RWOG family members who never play scary games really got in the spirit of the week. And we appreciate every one who put themselves through it!
To have games from Sunday 10/23/22 through Sunday 10/30/22 is no small feat and our staff really rose to the challenge. Of course we also had a “family time” stream with close friends and our staff. While not family friendly it sure was a blast to be a part of with a lot of laughs to be had all around.
It was a great way to get ready for Halloween. There were so many different scary and or scary adjacent games played. We even got to have a special one shot TTRPG!
The whole week really was a horrifying good time. Any time we get to spend time with you is honestly a treat. And every time we get to have family time is always a laugh riot. So really we couldn’t be happier with how we ended our biggest charity event of the year. We will still be streaming through the year as normal, no worries. You will still get to see us make idiots of ourselves this year and the next during our future charity events.
Thank you again for all you do for us. I know I say that we could not do what we do without you folks a lot but that is only because it is the truth. Your continued support is a real gift. The time you spend in streams always makes us feel so loved and supported. We are able to make differences for others because of all of you. Thanks for being there.
