It is almost here! Our first charity event of this brand new year. There is excitement in the air for our amazing staff as we finish preparing. The first charity event of the year is always special for us. It kicks off a whole year of giving that we are so proud to get to be a part of.
February 25th is the big day. We will be playing games for 12 hours to raise money for charity. Starting at 12:00pm EST and we will keep going till at least 12:00am EST. There will be all sorts of incentives for our streamers. Some of them will be pleasant like stickers and others will be eating things that are, well, less pleasant. All of it will be fun!
This year we have something special to announce. We will be doing this event with our friends at GirlStreamers Inc. Can you believe this teamup? This amazing group has been entertaining and creating a safe community for years. We are so excited to get to work with them to raise money for this event.
We are partnering with Player Vs Hunger for this event. Player Vs Hunger works to fight food insecurity and food deserts. There is a real need for us to help right now. The cost of food continues to rise. Programs that help people of all ages get food continue to be cut. It is up to us to make change where we can. You can help us to do that on February 25th.
So you want to help us but are unsure how? First thing is to help us spread the word where you can. Then you can hang out with us on the day of. Yes I mean that watching us play games and participating in shenanigans is a huge help in and of itself. These events are always more fun with you there with us. If you cannot make it that day we do have a Tiltify and every little bit really does help.
