We did it! We have successfully started up our 2023 charity season on Feburary 25 with Be Someone’s Superhero. Games were played. Gross things were eaten. In short: we had a blast.
We started off with Crymson and friends. After some technical difficulties, and they weren’t even ours this , we got to play Dead By Daylight. Kinky and PhoenixNymphy took over. Together Real Women of Gaming and Girlstreamers played a great game of Skribbl before switching to the hilarity of Overcooked. The night ended, as all of our charity events do, with family time and Goose Goose Duck.
We also got to talk to FluffyPancakes from Player Vs Hunger. It was wonderful to hear from her about this organization. Pancake, members of Real Women of Gaming and Girlstreamers had a wonderful conversation about food insecurity. It was a heavy but necessary conversation. This is the whole reason we have partnered with Player Vs Hunger for three years now. It is a true honor to be able to help this organization.
We raised $340.00 this year! With inflation and the troubles people have been having we are blown away by this. We could not have done this without you all. You stayed with us during those twelve hours of fun. You helped us raise this money. You are our heroes.
