Real Women of Gaming

That’s right. Together, we did it again. Year three of Togthercon has come and gone. It was a great weekend. We had panels, living gaming, live shows and some surprises for everyone who attended! Staff and con goers alike got to enjoy two days of good company. We had a lot of laughs and are already excited for next year. 

The convention started, as it always does, with Salty “opening the doors” and declaring the convention officially begun. Thia, how does Salty open the doors to a virtual convention? With a perfect gif. Salty always finds the perfect gif. Three years and they just keep getting better, I swear. By then the staff had scurried to their posts. Different “rooms” in the discord host the events. 

With staff on hand to help everything kicked off. Our panels hosted a wide array of topics. Our live shows were a little later in the day. We had a spot for cosplayers. There was, of course, a spot for vendors who were able to attend. Now here are some tips for a Real Women of Gaming convention to find some other fun. If you like anime, look for Rilie. If you like horror, look for Fluffy. 

Rooms were available to just gather and talk. There was a general chat where you could find different people during the convention. Need a staff member? No problem. There was a room for that as well. All the while you can enjoy the convention from the comfort of your home. Honestly, I think virtual conventions have ruined cons for me. I love being cozy while enjoying the convention experience. 

Sad you missed it? Don’t worry. Togthercon will be back for its fourth year in 2024!
