Real Women of Gaming

Who doesn’t want to be a hero? To make a difference for the better in the world? However that can seem like a thing of fiction in this world. Where to start can be difficult to discern with so many big problems. Finding charity opportunities is a great way to get going. Here is some information about one such event that we are excited for this month!

Be Someone’s Superhero is a charity event that we have been running for years. Real Women of Gaming have worked with different organizations through that time. This year we will be partnering with our friends at the Bodhana Group. Bodhana Group is an organization that utilizes gaming to help with mental health. A nonprofit group that uses therapeutic and clinical practices while playing board games. 

Well, that is a very simple explanation of all the wonderful things they do. We have seen first hand how their work helps others. That work has become very important to us. They have also been a part of our online convention. The Bodhana Group have been big supporters of our organization and we are happy to be able to return the favor. 

The event will be taking place on Saturday,  February 24, 2024. 

We will be gaming from 12:00 pm EST to 12:00 am EST.

Our streaming team will be taking on the event relay style. A different person will take over the stream every two hours. Some games will be cooperative which is always a blast. The last stream of the night we will have the founder of the Bodhana Group join us for our family time stream, aka all the shenanigans. We will also have one more guest for this charity event! It is turning into a really fantastic time.
