It has been a crazy summer so far. Unfortunetly, it has been a little too crazy. Due to many reasons we have to cancel this year’s Togethercon.
Togethercon is our virtual convention. When COVID shut down in-person conventions we all felt a sense of loss. Loss at what life had been before. Loss of the community that had been so carefully built. So Real Women of Gaming decided to do something about it. We created a convention to be held virtually in a discord server. That way people could gather safely and get some comfort and connection.
We did it again the next year and it grew. Now we have a two day convention with multiple panels, workshops, vendors, sponsor opportunities, anime, movies and spaces to gather. We have been able to host authors. Given a place for game developers to show off. Opportunities for charities to introduce themselves to a greater audience.
We are hoping to add our panels into this Year’s To Hell and Back…For Charity in October.
