Real Women of Gaming

One more amazing event is in the books. We gamed. We laughed. We had a silly good time while raising money for someone we deeply love. You’re Not Alone 2023 was a huge success!

This year we raised money for KinkedNitemare. She is a huge part of not only Real Women of Gaming but other wonderful organizations. They are also a mother and wife with a fantastic family. They have worked so hard through the years to help other people. Seriously, the amount of work put on for our events by Kinky cannot be properly measured. Recently though she and her family have had many difficulties of their own. We could not let them go through this alone. So we decided to step up and raise money for them this year.

We started off with Crymson and friends trying to escape the fog in Dead by Daylight. If you haven’t played with the Nicolas Cage survivor yet, that is a must. Solidos was next up and we had a blast reading from lost books and fighting baddies in Remnant II. Then Iris, who was tracking down clues in the Nancy Drew game Danger on Deception Island, took the streaming baton. We finished with family time and co-streams of Goose Goose Duck. It was pure chaos by the end of the night. 

It was a really great time for everyone involved. We have raised $5, 265.00 so far! Truly the staff here could not be more proud of our community. You all really stepped up by hanging out in chat, sharing and donating. We appreciate everything that you do and have done, truly.

We could not be more grateful for the help we received for this event also. We had some fantastic sponsors. A huge hand to  1985 Games and Comic Zen for their sponsorship. 

On a personal note I would like to say how very proud I am of our staff for all of their work. Also of our community. We came together and did something great. We had a lot of fun doing it. This was a great time. It was sad to end but we will be back with You’re Not Alone again next year.
