10. Dragon Age Franchise

I almost didn’t add Dragon Age because, even if I have beaten every game, I didn’t want to add another RPG to the list. However, not only is RPG one of my favorite types of games, Dragon Age is an amazing series. Even the second one – oh yeah, I said it – which was rushed did well with that they had (YOU CAN’T RUSH ART!). I can’t wait for the 4th one!
9. Civilization Revolution
So Civ Revolution is one of those games that doesn’t really have an ending, you just win rounds. Well, I’ve won it a ton and it’s probably my favorite of the series. It is different than most of the Civ franchise games and still a wonderful game to play and one I’ve put many, many, many, many hours into.
8. Borderlands 1 & 2
I LOVE Borderlands! Both games were exceptional for totally different reasons. I had a lot of trouble getting into Pre-Sequel, which I know is a great game but it wasn’t capturing my attention at the time. Not only was it great to play, I miss a lot of the characters and hope they do so much more in the future. If you like FPS RPGs then you HAVE to play this series. Full of badass women and men, tons of inappropriateness and more guns than you can literally shake a stick at!
7. Injustice: Gods Among Us
I’ve beaten this as much as you can beat any fighting game. I completed the story lines of several characters but not all of the characters. So why do I consider this to be so important to put on the list? I typically never make it through a fighting game at all. The fact that I was able to, making this my favorite fighting game, is astounding to me. Thanks for giving those of us horrible at fighting games, a chance!
6. Fable 3
I’ve put so many hours into Fable 3, before and after the patch where you couldn’t just sit there overnight and rack up all the money from your properties to make that end army easy to do. I loved the game enough that I pulled other friends into it and have played it more than once. I can’t remember if I’ve beaten it more than once, but I think I beat it with Vanri and with Vel, so at least twice? It’s an amazing RPG where you can be either female or male and your decisions actually shape the game. I love this game game for a variety of reasons, however don’t trust the blacksmith. That jackass gave me an STD.
5. Left 4 Dead Series
Has to be, by far, my favorite FPS, Zombie & Co-Op game. I love them so much I replay them during my Thursday night streams. It has no real ending. At best, you get through the missions ahead of you and, like a good Zombie movie, these characters aren’t carrying the cure, they are just trying to survive. With different modes these game have years of replay value.
4. Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
After the huge let down that was AC3, I felt defeated before I even got this game, but Kenway was worth every penny and all the drool. Voiced by my beloved Matt Ryan (Constantine), I dove into this game like a pirate to rum and did almost all the extra content
3. Anarcute
This is one of the few Let’s Plays I actually finished! Anarcute is unlike most of the games I play. Adorable and frustrating as hell, this one indie developer who deserves to have my money. I even dove back isn’t to finish the level I thought impossible.
2. Chrono Cross
I had the opportunity to start Chrono Trigger, but lost the game before it could beat it. I easily put as much time into this game as I did my number 1 pick. An amazing story line, so much to unlock as it had the new game plus. Start over with everything you had and try new choices? Yes please. I highly underrated series.
1. Final Fantasy 7
I know it’s so old, but I’ve put so many hours into this game its ridiculous. The counter stopped at 150, I think. I was enthralled with all aspects of it. I loved this game so much. I’m excited for the episodic remaster as much as I am terrified. Here is hoping to relive a deep nostalgia and not scar my beloved game.

I really do rate Civ Revolution. Whilst it lacks the depth of the main series it’s a great way to play Civ and get through a game in just a couple of hours. Works well on a tablet too so I hope something along those lines ends up on Switch.

I tend to let my ADD get the best of me when playing CIV like games and this is one of the few that really holds my attention!
