Crackdown 3
Looks like awesomesauce! I was a huge fan of the first two. Well, the first one a bit more than the second, but that happens. I am really wondering what turn the storyline will take with this one. However, this game did give me achievement issues. As in, must have them ALL!
Halo Collection
Halo is the reason I got into Xbox in the first place. Well, that or Ghost Recon. I don’t remember that well. Anyway, I was excited to see that Halo was picked back up and beautifully done with Halo 4. I think I might have to pick this bundle up.
Halo 5: Guardians
SQUEE! Of course there is a beta with the purchase of the bundle. Damn it!
Sunset Overdrive
What the fuck? It looks like Borderlands and Halo had a messed up baby. With some elements from skateboarding games thrown in, it doesn’t appear that there is a lack of things to do. With giant ugly baddies to fight, a bright and colorful landscape, an interesting array of weapons. What could go wrong? There’s even a punk rocker character with a comic book feel. Looks to be an awesome time. I wonder about the replay value. 8 player multiplayer, with co op. It looks like you can pick what you look like. Hilarious weaponry.
Witcher 3
Ok, I haven’t played any of the Witcher games, but I have access to 2 and am adding it to the list of games I must beat this year. It looks like a stunning RPG and I feel we are seriously lacking in that department.
Super Dead Rising
I have no words for this. I really, really, really don’t.
Tomb Raider
I haven’t played a Tomb Raider game in years (like, PSOne). I loved the reboot, though. I watched it; it was beautiful and well done. I love the newer take on her appearance, as well. This looks equally amazing, a woman coming into her own. I can’t wait to see it.
Dance Central
Yes, I love the Dance Central games. It looks just as wonderful as the past games have been, but we will see if they really have anything new to offer besides a few songs and a couple of moves.
Dragon Age: Inquisition
SQUEE! Can I tell you how long I’ve been WAITING for this game? I hope it is more Dragon Age Origins than Dragon Age 2. Still, stunning graphics, landscapes and characters. I have more questions about this than I do opinions. Now with action or tactical battles and companions with actual in depth stories and agendas.
COD: Advanced Warfare
I don’t play COD. I’m not good at it, I tried. It looks as intense as the rest of them have. I love the addition of Kevin Spacey to the team and there are several decisions I admire, being an FPS player. I like that the ammo is shown on the actual gun, making it feel like a more realistic experience. Boosters are an interesting addition, but a welcomed one. I do wonder where the storyline will go. I like the seamless transition from cut scene to game play. Mechs! Mechs make everything better, very much like bacon. This one seems to be further into the future with a lot more tech than previous games, which I think will only be a benefit to the franchise. I wish all games had smart grenades that honed in on their targets. I’d like to see how it plays.
Fable Legends
So, running around with a group to work with sounds awesome and annoying at the same time. Be a hero or a nasty villain. Set up traps, bad guys and all sorts of horribleness as players try and get through and be the hero. All of these elements sound extremely interesting, but I have to wonder if all of that will take away from the story. I’m rather excited to see this new take on Fable, hoping that it doesn’t detract from everything I already love about it.
Evolve
So, it looks like Left 4 Dead with aliens. That may not be a bad thing, but I’m still a little bitter that I never got a Left 4 Dead 3. Very much the same feel.
Scalebound
Looks beautiful. A futuristic Monster Hunter, almost? I haven’t seen anything quite like it and that interests me the most. Of course, bonus points for dragons, magic, awesome looking bad ass monsters and hopefully an amazing story.
The Division
Tom Clancy and Ubisoft had an interesting looking baby. High tech post-apocalyptic? I’m not sure if I’m listening to the players talking or the characters. It sounds like every co-op conversation I’ve ever had, tho, and I’m impressed. It’s a third person shooter and I am interested as hell in getting my hands on it.
Assassins Creed: Unity
SQUEE! Co-Op play! ARE YOU KIDDING?! During the French Revolution! I see interiors, that’s amazing. Mob mentality seems like it could be as awesome as much as it would be a headache. It looks as beautiful as you would expect an AC game to. Apparently, it’s the largest world they have built yet. Holy Crap! I CAN’T WAIT! But serious Ubisoft…. where da women at?
Ori: Blind Forest
A creative, imaginative and lovely side scroller. Tragically sad demo. Unfortunately, I haven’t been a fan of side scrollers since I was a kid, so I won’t be picking it up, but it looks incredible.
Killer Instinct Season 2
Sorry, not impressed. After playing some wonderful fighting games like Injustice, it feels lacking.
Phantom Dust
Looks lovely. My interest has been peaked, but the trailer really doesn’t tell you much about the game.
Project Spark
Sounds amazing, looks amazing. I definitely had a Sword Art Online moment there, tho (for my Anime geeks). Create my own world? Yes, please!
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Looks like a beautiful action RPG that takes place between the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Wraith powers? Build your own army by taking them over? Character customization? Along with amazing graphics, beautiful scenery and an interesting storyline? Yes, please!
Homefront 2
First, set in Philadelphia? Yes, please! I love to see something based near where I live. Looks very interesting.
Star Wars: Battlefront 3
OMG! A NEW STAR WARS GAME! Please don’t suck.
Mass Effect 4
A brand new area to play in. I haven’t played any of the Mass Effect games, but it looks incredible.
The Sims 4
Defining your Sims personality. The graphics are impressive. Personality drives actions. I have always been a fan of the Sims games but I gave up on the Sims 3. Maybe I will dive back into the Sims 4, which looks wonderful. We will see.
*Editor Vanri Says: I wonder if they’re finally gonna add an online feature where you can play with your friends. That’d be cool. *
ID@Xbox
Looks simply amazing with a ton of games I am looking forward to. I am really excited about this project. They have always seemed open to indy games, but showing them at E3 really gives me hope for some quality games this time around. Also, being a huge Plague Inc fan I can’t wait to see it on the Xbox.
Please note this is all based on the limited amount I got to see of E3, given that I had to work and those dummy heads didn’t invite us. *insert pout here*
